Job summary

MindPec Solutions seeks a Senior Backend Developer with Java and Scrum Master experience to join its digital banking technology team. You will design, build, and maintain Java-based backend services, REST APIs, and microservices in a hybrid technical and Agile delivery setting.

The role combines hands-on Java development with Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, and delivery coordination across developers, QA, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Java backend development experience.
• Proficiency with Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts and software design.
• Experience with SQL relational databases.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Git, CI/CD, and SDLC practices familiarity.
• Practical Agile/Scrum experience and delivery leadership.
• Previous Scrum Master/Agile Lead exposure.
• Banking/financial services domain experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Work with Spring/Spring Boot and enterprise frameworks.
• Perform coding, debugging, unit testing, reviews, and production support.
• Integrate backend services with databases and enterprise systems.
• Facilitate Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospective sessions.
• Support backlog refinement and sprint planning with Product Owners.
• Track sprint progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers.
• Coordinate between developers, QA, business analysts, and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and deliver updates to stakeholders.
