Job summary

MindPec Solutions seeks a Senior Backend Developer to join the Digital Banking tech team. You will design, develop and deliver scalable Java/J2EE and full stack applications, collaborating with architects, stakeholders and junior developers.

The role emphasizes Spring, RESTful APIs, microservices, DevOps, and Agile delivery within a banking context. EP sponsorship is not available; contract-based engagement.

Qualifications

• 7–15 years of enterprise software development experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework, RESTful APIs / Web Services, JSON / XML, OOP / MVC, RDBMS data modelling.
• Experience with Full Stack Development and Agile environments.
• Exposure to Linux/Unix development and scripting; Microservices and Kubernetes are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain digital banking applications and services.
• Work across the full stack from UI to backend services and databases.
• Design and develop solutions using Java, J2EE, Spring and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable microservices and enterprise applications.
• Participate in code reviews, technical analysis and QA; drive CI/CD and DevOps practices.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join the Digital Banking technology team. This role is ideal for a strong Java / Full Stack Developer who enjoys building scalable enterprise applications and critical digital banking services.

You will work closely with developers, architects and business stakeholders to design, develop and deliver reliable applications across the full technology stack.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain critical digital banking applications and services
• Work across the full application stack, from UI/front-end through backend services and databases
• Design and develop solutions using Java, J2EE, Spring and RESTful APIs
• Build scalable and reliable microservices and enterprise applications
• Participate in system design, code reviews, technical analysis and quality assurance
• Drive CI/CD, DevOps and application automation practices
• Improve application performance, scalability, deployment architecture and manageability
• Work with architects and development teams on technical solutions and implementation
• Evaluate and provide technical input on third-party tools and technologies
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment

What We're Looking For
