Job summary

Hong Leong Bank Berhad is seeking an experienced Java Applications professional to maintain, develop, implement and support Java-based systems and interfaces with downstream systems. You will collaborate with business users, vendors and PMO to gather requirements and craft technical solutions.

You will participate in lifecycle activities, production support, governance and security controls, and guide junior team members while ensuring stability and performance in a financial environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science & Information Technology.
• 6+ years in IT enterprise applications in financial environments.
• Experience in app server clustering, performance tuning and testing.
• Experience developing Java (J2EE) applications.
• Experience with WebSphere on Unix (AIX) and DB2/Oracle databases.

Responsibilities

• Implement, support, and maintain assigned Java applications.
• Analyze requirements and design with stakeholders; coordinate with PMO/SME.
• Provide production support and incident management.
• Governance, compliance and security controls across development life cycle.
• Plan tasks and coordinate resources; review security and change controls.
