Job summary

Ambition Recruitment client seeks an experienced Software Engineer (Java) to lead the full lifecycle delivery of API-powered platforms and modern web applications. You will design and build REST-based APIs with Spring Boot while coordinating with international teams to shape architecture and ensure security and performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java development experience with Java 17/21;
• Practical React front-end development experience;
• Strong REST API development with Spring Boot;
• Understanding of cloud-native security principles;
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a bonus;
• Good self-management and cross-regional collaboration skills;

Responsibilities

• Own the full lifecycle of API-powered platforms and web apps for performance, scalability and security;
• Design and build robust REST-based APIs with maintainability in mind;
• Collaborate with senior designers to translate UX concepts into technically sound solutions;
• Uphold engineering excellence through coding standards, CI/CD and secure delivery practices;
• Work with international teams to shape architecture and drive key technology decisions;
