Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd, established since 2012, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build robust Java applications using Spring Boot. You will work on API integration and AWS deployment in a hybrid, Malaysia-based team serving regional clients.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement CI/CD, ensure security and performance, and contribute to production support. This contract role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI-enabled projects and cloud-based solutions

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of REST API development experience.
• 3+ years of AWS cloud experience.
• Malaysian citizenship required.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and deployment processes.
• Ability to work independently as a senior developer.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate REST APIs with internal and external systems.
• Work with AWS cloud services to support application deployment and scalability.
• Utilize CI/CD tools and processes for efficient software delivery.
• Troubleshoot production issues and enhance application performance.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business users, and project stakeholders.
• Follow coding standards, security practices, and documentation requirements.
