Job summary

Maxis is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to implement procurement plans for IT services and Maxis business. You will lead supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance with policies.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and at least 7 years in procurement or vendor management, preferably in IT or telecom. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 7 years in procurement or vendor management.
• Experience in IT, telecom, or technology industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive relationships with key strategic suppliers with IT infra & delivery teams.
• Negotiate contract elements including pricing, milestones & terms.
• Maintain records, analyse, shortlist and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage supplier performance including support, maintenance & metrics.
• Develop competitive proposals to show savings.
• Analyse market demand and coordinate with vendors for sourcing strategy.
• Identify and implement cost reductions through pricing, costing & margins.
