Job summary

Penguin Solutions Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to partner with business IT resources, documenting requirements, contributing to designs, and maintaining robust, secure, scalable IT environments (end point, network, server, storage, cloud) for high availability and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will lead technical projects, vendor collaborations, and audits, while delivering excellent end-user experience and solutions with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
• 5-7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or related roles.
• Proficiency with Windows, MacOS, and Office 365; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain robust, secure IT environments (end point, network, server, storage, cloud).
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and resolve IT systems hardware/software problems.
• Plan and manage LAN layouts, backups, telecommunication, and regional support with corporate IT Services.
• Deploy infrastructure including endpoints, networking hardware, servers, and storage solutions.
• Lead vendor collaborations and IT projects, ensuring SLAs and compliance.
