Penguin Solutions Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to document requirements, design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable IT environments across endpoints, networks, servers, storage, and cloud. The role emphasizes high availability, business continuity, and user-focused problem solving.

You will work closely with corporate IT Services, manage LAN, backups, telecommunication, and regional support while leading projects and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure, system administration, or related roles.
• Self-starter who learns quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer focus with ability to build relationships and explain technical issues clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, MacOS, and Office 365; strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee system performance and maintain IT equipment.
• Investigate and resolve IT system hardware and software issues.
• Plan and manage LAN layouts, backups, telecommunications with IT Services.
• Support deployment of infrastructure including endpoints, networking, servers, and storage.
• Recommend hardware/software solutions and coordinate procurement.
