Job summary

REDtone is seeking a Senior IT Executive to manage server infrastructure, virtualization, and core IT systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.

You will oversee VMware/Hyper-V environments, AD, DNS, DHCP, storage, backups, DR, and compliance, collaborating with vendors and internal teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 4–6 years hands-on server administration and virtualization experience.
• Strong VMware/Hyper-V, Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, backup and DR skills.
• Experience with enterprise storage systems.
• Knowledge of IT security standards and compliance practices.
• Experience in corporate IT infrastructure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with IT Manager assistance.
• Good communication and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain server environments (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Provision and optimize virtual machines; monitor performance.
• Install, patch, upgrades and harden servers.
• Monitor system health, availability, and capacity planning.
• Manage core services: AD, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and application servers.
• Provide Level 2 infrastructure support and troubleshoot incidents.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware maintenance and upgrades.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, SOPs, and configuration records.
• Handle backups, DR testing, and recovery planning.
• Support infrastructure projects and migrations.
• Coordinate audits and IT governance activities.
• Oversee server hardware lifecycle and licensing.
• Provide cross-functional IT support at project sites.
