Job summary

Westports Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior IT Executive - Infrastructure Operation to oversee IT infrastructure, ensure robust system security, and deliver high-quality technical support to end-users. The role requires hands-on leadership of technical teams and collaboration with vendors to maintain secure, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in IT/CS, 3+ years in IT infrastructure, and solid knowledge of ISMS, ITIL, and virtualization technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and working understanding of ITSM/ITIL.
• Proficiency in server administration, network management, operating systems, storage, virtualization, database and backup system.
• Experience in Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Responsible for managing IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, and providing exceptional technical support to end-users.

Education & Qualification

A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience (e.g., 3+ years) in IT infrastructure management, network administration, and working understanding of ITSM/ITIL.

Proficiency in server administration, network management, operating systems, storage, virtualization, Database and backup system.

Experience in Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Skill & Requirements

Demonstrated experience in leading and managing technical teams effectively.

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance standards.

Previous involvement in managing IT projects, from planning to execution.

Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
