Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is looking for a Sr Engineer to support Infrastructure Level 2 Operations in Batu Kawan, Malaysia. You will focus on Windows and Unix Server technologies, particularly in a hybrid cloud environment, and ensure operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, along with relevant experience and a desire to learn about virtualization technologies.

Qualifications

• Academic know-how or internship experiences in the infrastructure domain of IT.
• Desire to learn hardware and virtualization technologies.
• Certifications from Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, and Cisco preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2 support in incident, request, change and problem management.
• Ensure SLA for incidents and service requests are met.
• Install and upgrade firmware for hardware and operating systems.
