Job summary

SYNTIANT MALAYSIA MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced software developer to create and support in-house applications that drive business growth in manufacturing and OA systems.

You will analyze problems, propose effective solutions, and ensure delivery within defined objectives. The role requires 5+ years in Windows or web-based development, strong OO programming skills, and familiarity with .NET, SQL procedures, and Oracle PL/SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or IT is required.
• 5+ years in Windows or web-based application development.
• Strong OO programming, communication, analytical and time management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies and database programming.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems and SDLC methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop new in-house applications and support existing ones for business growth.
• Analyze business processes using established procedures and system knowledge.
• Understand user problems and propose or enhance solutions.
• Work within defined objectives and timelines, adapting guidelines as needed.
• Receive guidance and have work checked by supervisor; document methods.
• Prepare and present to internal groups; train users on in-house apps.
• Provide on-call support and resolve issues for in-house applications.
• Assist users with technical problems and perform basic admin tasks for file systems.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
