Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field is required.
• Hands-on experience with C/C# and Visual Studio in a Windows environment.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and database design is essential.
• Familiarity with VB/VB6 and migration to C#/.NET is advantageous.
• Manufacturing/industrial systems experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel locally and periodically to Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing applications using C/C# and Visual Studio.
• Design and support Microsoft SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and integrations.
• Support Windows-based systems, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and production issues.
• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and system upgrades.
• Assist with VB6 to C#/.NET modernization projects.
• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between applications, databases, equipment, and enterprise systems.
• Support new manufacturing line implementations, testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with users, IT/engineering teams, vendors and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing applications using C/C# and Microsoft Visual Studio.




• Design and support Microsoft SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and integrations.




• Support Windows-based systems, application deployments, hardware/software configuration, and troubleshooting.




• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and production-related issues.




• Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, system upgrades, and performance improvements.




• Support legacy VB/VB6 to C#/.NET modernisation projects.




• Develop and troubleshoot integrations between applications, databases, manufacturing equipment, and enterprise systems.




• Support new manufacturing line implementations, testing, commissioning, and system deployment.




• Work with manufacturing users, IT/engineering teams, vendors, and suppliers to resolve technical issues.




• Maintain technical documentation and follow software development and operational standards.

Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.




• Relevant experience in software development, manufacturing systems, or technical support.




• Strong hands-on experience with:

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, database, and application development skills.
