Job summary

Cinta Design & Build Sdn Bhd (建达设计建筑有限公司) is seeking a Project Manager (Interior Design Fit Out & Extension) to lead ID projects from planning to completion. You will ensure on-time delivery, stay within budget, and align with design intent, standards, and client requirements.

You will coordinate with designers, architects, engineers, and contractors, manage schedules, budgets, changes, and site progress, and mentor junior staff while maintaining clear communication with clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, project management, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior design, fit-out, architecture, or construction project management.
• Experience leading mixed teams of designers, consultants and contractors.
• Proficiency with CAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiar with local building regulations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead ID projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Coordinate design with interior designers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Serve as primary client contact, provide progress updates and manage expectations.
• Visit sites regularly to monitor progress and ensure compliance with drawings and safety rules.
• Inspect workmanship and coordinate defect fixing before handover.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain smooth communication.
• Maintain project documentation, change orders, variations, and approvals.
