Job summary

Homlux Interior Furnishing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Design Consultant to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic spaces. You will develop CAD layouts, generate material proposals and presentations, and secure client endorsement while driving sales and ensuring smooth project handover.

Ideal candidates have 3–8 years of interior design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and design software, and strong presentation and client-relations skills.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of interior design or design-build experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for space planning.
• Strong presentation skills to explain concepts and proposals.
• Excellent client relation and closing design proposals.
• Experience with SketchUp, 3D Max, V-Ray or Lumion where required.
• Knowledge of materials, budgets and site constraints.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on interior design solutions balancing functionality, aesthetics, budget and buildability.
• Create space plans, CAD layouts, material proposals and design presentations.
• Secure client endorsement and handle quotation acceptance.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on design direction and specs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and scope with clients.
• Generate qualified sales leads and achieve sales targets.
• Resolve design, budget and site concerns with practical solutions.
• Transfer approved design information for drawing development and procurement.
