Job summary

Mood and Wonders Sdn Bhd is seeking a passionate Sales Designer / Consultant to translate client aspirations into meaningful interior projects in Malaysia. You will engage with clients, understand lifestyle and budget, and present compelling design recommendations.

With 2–3 years in interior design or design & build, you will leverage strong Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, drive sales, and collaborate with the design team to deliver exceptional experiences and close projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in interior design consultancy or design & build.
• Strong knowledge of interior design, space planning, materials and renovation processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Sales-driven, proactive and confident in handling clients.
• Organised, responsible and able to work independently.
• Own transport and able to attend client meetings and site visits.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential clients to understand lifestyle, design preferences, requirements and budget.
• Generate leads and manage enquiries; identify new sales opportunities.
• Provide professional design recommendations and convey MW's philosophy and services.
• Prepare proposals and quotations; conduct presentations and secure projects.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Collaborate with internal design team to develop proposals and ensure smooth handover.
• Achieve sales targets and maintain records of enquiries and progress.
