Job summary

Glory HR Solutions in Selangor is assisting a leading multinational in the manufacturing and power generation sector to recruit a Senior Instrument Engineer for their advanced Thermal Power Plant. The role focuses on instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant bachelor's degree and have at least 3 years of experience with PLC, DCS, HMI and SCADA, plus strong troubleshooting, communication and teamwork skills to operate in a plant environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, power generation, manufacturing or similar plant environment.
Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems.
Good knowledge of instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation.
Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning and system improvement.
Experience working in a thermal power plant, power generation plant, paper mill, process plant or continuous production environment an advantage.
Able to analyse technical problems and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Willing to work in a plant environment and support maintenance or troubleshooting activities.

Responsibilities

Support instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems at a Thermal Power Plant.
Troubleshoot, maintain and optimize control systems and instrumentation.
Assist in commissioning and plant improvement projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and safety.

Our client is a leading MNC in the manufacturing and power generation industry, operating an advanced Thermal Power Plant. They are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join their engineering team and support the plant's instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems.
