Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our client's engineering team at an advanced Thermal Power Plant, supporting instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in automation/electrical/electronics/mechatronics or related discipline and at least 3 years in industrial instrumentation, with strong troubleshooting, teamwork and independent working skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, power generation, manufacturing or a similar plant environment.
Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems.
Good knowledge of instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation.
Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning and system improvement.
Experience working in a thermal power plant, power generation plant, paper mill, process plant or continuous production environment will be an advantage.

Our client is a leading MNC in the manufacturing and power generation industry, operating an advanced Thermal Power Plant. They are looking for a Senior Instrument Engineer to join their engineering team and support the plant’s instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial instrutmentation, process control, power generation, manufacturing or a similar plant environment.
Hands‑on experience with PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems.
Good knowledge of instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation.
