Job summary
Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Instrument Engineer to join our client's engineering team at an advanced Thermal Power Plant, supporting instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in automation/electrical/electronics/mechatronics or related discipline and at least 3 years in industrial instrumentation, with strong troubleshooting, teamwork and independent working skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial instrumentation, process control, power generation, manufacturing or a similar plant environment.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems.
- Good knowledge of instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation.
- Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning and system improvement.
- Experience working in a thermal power plant, power generation plant, paper mill, process plant or continuous production environment will be an advantage.
