Job summary

Unknown Company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Field Instrumentation Engineer to join their engineering team. You will support instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems across the plant, focusing on reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in automation/electrical/mechatronics, with at least 3 years in industrial instrumentation, process control or power generation environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automation or related engineering fields.

Our client is a leading MNC in the manufacturing and power generation industry, operating an advanced Thermal Power Plant. They are looking for a Senior Field Instrumentation Engineer to join their engineering team and support the plant’s instrumentation, automation, control and electrical systems.

Job Requirements

• - Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related discipline.
• - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial instrutmentation, process control, power generation, manufacturing or a similar plant environment.
• - Good knowledge with PLC, DCS, HMI, SCADA and industrial control systems.
• - Good knowledge of instrumentation, control systems and industrial automation.
• - Experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, commissioning and system improvement.
• - Experience working in a thermal power plant, power generation plant, paper mill, process plant or continuous production environment will be an advantage.
• - Able to analyse technical problems and provide effective troubleshooting solutions.
• - Good communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• - Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• - Willing to work in a plant environment and support maintenance or troubleshooting activities.
