Job summary

IHH HealthCare Malaysia is seeking an experienced IT professional to implement, support, and maintain IT application software across hospital information systems. You will perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-call support to resolve incidents within agreed service levels.

You will also participate in project planning, patching, upgrades, and system rollouts, ensuring smooth implementation of IT projects and harmonisation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Able to work independently under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Implement, support, and maintain IT application software.
• Perform system testing and troubleshoot application issues.
• Provide on-call support and resolve incidents within agreed service levels.
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders to resolve application-related issues.
• Support software patching, upgrades, and system rollouts.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, requirements gathering, GAP analysis, design reviews, SIT, UAT, and user training.
• Ensure smooth implementation of IT projects and system harmonisation initiatives.
• Lead assigned projects and guide team members throughout project execution.
• Conduct pre-go-live site readiness activities.
• Ensure hardware and devices related to HIS, and third-party systems are operational.
• Support HIS applications according to defined severity and response timelines.
• Maintain system documentation, user accounts, licensing records, warranties, archives, and audit trails.
• Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports.
• Develop technical and non-technical documentation, procedures, and reference materials.
• Design customised reports to meet user and business requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend IT products and solutions.
• Identify enhancement opportunities to improve system performance, efficiency and patient/customer service.
• Guide and mentor new team members.
• Lead project teams when assigned.

Education

Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field

• Perform other related duties as may be assigned or delegated by the Superior or any other person as directed from time to time.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
