General Description

Responsible for the end-to-end implementation and technical integration of patient-fronting applications – Websites, AI Chatbot, Online Appointment and Queue Management System – across multiple hospital sites. This role bridges technical development and clinical operations, requiring frequent travel for on‑site requirements gathering, vendor management, and go‑live support. By leveraging a strong programming background and networking expertise, the position ensures seamless system interoperability, guides technical teams toward project milestones, and provides agile support for ad‑hoc digital initiatives and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Project Execution & Support: Lead the end-to-end implementation of digital projects across multiple hospital sites, ensuring systems are integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
  2. Application Assessment & Solutioning: Evaluate and assess existing and potential applications, providing recommendations on best practices and innovative solutions to meet operational needs.
  3. Tender & Documentation Management: Manage the full lifecycle of tender works, starting from the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents to vendor evaluation and selection recommendations.
  4. Project Management & Governance: Oversee the full project lifecycle by establishing project charters and tracking milestones; ensure strict adherence to the project governance framework and compliance matrix to guarantee all employer requirements are fully met.
  5. On‑Site Coordination: Travel to various hospital locations to conduct on‑ground requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go‑live support.
  6. Technical Integration: Oversee system integration workflows, ensuring that new digital services (e.g., appointment booking, patient flows) communicate effectively with hospital networking and existing systems.
  7. Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between hospital operations, internal IT teams, and external vendors to resolve deployment and post‑deployment issues.
  8. Team Management: Assist the Manager in guiding the technical team, ensuring tasks are prioritized according to the project roadmap and operational needs.
  9. Network & System Troubleshooting: Utilize networking knowledge to identify and resolve connectivity or integration bottlenecks during the deployment and post‑deployment phase.
  10. Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress against set timeframes and quality standards, ensuring all site‑specific requirements are met.
  11. Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, integration maps, and site‑specific requirements for all hospital deployments.
  12. System Support & Optimization: Monitor the performance of the in‑charged systems, identifying bottlenecks and implementing fixes.
  13. Ad‑hoc Responsibilities: Execute and support additional technical tasks, pilot projects, or emergency troubleshooting assignments as directed by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Knowledge and Experiences: Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Project Management and System Integration.
  • Programming Literacy: Strong background in programming (any languages) with the ability to “speak the language” of developers and troubleshoot code‐level issues.
  • Networking Expertise: Proven experience in networking and server environments to support seamless system communication across multiple hospital sites.
  • Strategic Communication: Proven ability to translate complex technical specifications into business‑user language, ensuring clear communication and alignment with non‑technical stakeholders and hospital operations.
  • Procurement & Tenders: Experience in managing tender works, from document preparation and technical specification writing to vendor recommendation.
  • Database Proficiency: Hands‑on knowledge of any database.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization.
  • Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is highly preferred but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Effective project management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Personal Attributes
  • Mobile & Adaptable: Highly willing to travel frequently between hospital sites for requirements gathering and on‑site support.
