General Description
Responsible for the end-to-end implementation and technical integration of patient-fronting applications – Websites, AI Chatbot, Online Appointment and Queue Management System – across multiple hospital sites. This role bridges technical development and clinical operations, requiring frequent travel for on‑site requirements gathering, vendor management, and go‑live support. By leveraging a strong programming background and networking expertise, the position ensures seamless system interoperability, guides technical teams toward project milestones, and provides agile support for ad‑hoc digital initiatives and troubleshooting.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Execution & Support: Lead the end-to-end implementation of digital projects across multiple hospital sites, ensuring systems are integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructure.
- Application Assessment & Solutioning: Evaluate and assess existing and potential applications, providing recommendations on best practices and innovative solutions to meet operational needs.
- Tender & Documentation Management: Manage the full lifecycle of tender works, starting from the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents to vendor evaluation and selection recommendations.
- Project Management & Governance: Oversee the full project lifecycle by establishing project charters and tracking milestones; ensure strict adherence to the project governance framework and compliance matrix to guarantee all employer requirements are fully met.
- On‑Site Coordination: Travel to various hospital locations to conduct on‑ground requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide go‑live support.
- Technical Integration: Oversee system integration workflows, ensuring that new digital services (e.g., appointment booking, patient flows) communicate effectively with hospital networking and existing systems.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact between hospital operations, internal IT teams, and external vendors to resolve deployment and post‑deployment issues.
- Team Management: Assist the Manager in guiding the technical team, ensuring tasks are prioritized according to the project roadmap and operational needs.
- Network & System Troubleshooting: Utilize networking knowledge to identify and resolve connectivity or integration bottlenecks during the deployment and post‑deployment phase.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress against set timeframes and quality standards, ensuring all site‑specific requirements are met.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate records of system configurations, integration maps, and site‑specific requirements for all hospital deployments.
- System Support & Optimization: Monitor the performance of the in‑charged systems, identifying bottlenecks and implementing fixes.
- Ad‑hoc Responsibilities: Execute and support additional technical tasks, pilot projects, or emergency troubleshooting assignments as directed by the Head of Department.
Job Requirements
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge and Experiences: Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Project Management and System Integration.
- Programming Literacy: Strong background in programming (any languages) with the ability to “speak the language” of developers and troubleshoot code‐level issues.
- Networking Expertise: Proven experience in networking and server environments to support seamless system communication across multiple hospital sites.
- Strategic Communication: Proven ability to translate complex technical specifications into business‑user language, ensuring clear communication and alignment with non‑technical stakeholders and hospital operations.
- Procurement & Tenders: Experience in managing tender works, from document preparation and technical specification writing to vendor recommendation.
- Database Proficiency: Hands‑on knowledge of any database.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively in a team and interface with various levels of the organization.
- Healthcare Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is highly preferred but not mandatory.
