Job summary

Safeguards Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to lead policy implementation and disciplinary processes, ensuring lawful and fair treatment across the organisation. You will advise on the Employee Act, handle investigations and Domestic Inquiries, coordinate with regulators, and deliver weekly and monthly IR reports.

A Bachelor's degree and 3–4 years of IR experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Malaysia Labour & Industrial Law.

Responsibilities

• Monitor adherence to policies to minimise business risk.
• Advise on Employee Act and IR matters.
• Resolve disputes through negotiation and consultation.
• Conduct investigations into misconduct.
• Lead Domestic Inquiry proceedings.
• Coordinate disciplinary procedures and show cause letters.
• Liaise with regulators on IR matters.
• Prepare weekly and monthly IR reports.
• Support management with evidence-based solutions.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.
