Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN GLOBAL HIRE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced HVAC / ACMV Engineer to join our project team in Johor Bahru.

The role covers engineering, site coordination, installation supervision, testing and commissioning for industrial and large-scale construction projects. You will review drawings, coordinate mechanical systems, monitor progress, and work closely with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC/ACMV/Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Experience in industrial factories, data centres or large-scale construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate HVAC/ACMV engineering and installation works at the project site.
• Review HVAC drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate air-conditioning, mechanical ventilation, ducting and chilled water systems.
• Monitor installation progress, workmanship and quality.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other M&E disciplines.
• Review technical submissions, material specs and equipment requirements.
• Resolve HVAC/ACMV technical and site coordination issues.
• Attend project meetings, inspections and technical discussions.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspection and handover activities.
• Ensure installation works comply with drawings, specs and project requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for HVAC / ACMV engineering, site coordination, installation supervision, technical review, testing and commissioning for industrial and large-scale construction projects.

About you

• Minimum 3 years of relevant HVAC / ACMV / Mechanical Engineering experience.
• Experience in industrial factories, manufacturing plants, cleanrooms, data centres or large-scale construction projects will be highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge of HVAC / ACMV systems, ducting, ventilation, chilled water systems and mechanical services.
• Able to read and review engineering drawings, shop drawings and technical specifications.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and relevant engineering software.
• Good site coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
