Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced HSE Officer for our Johor Bahru operations. You will oversee and continuously improve HSE practices, ensuring compliance with DOSH regulations and OSHA 1994, while promoting a proactive safety culture across the site.

You will lead HSE policy implementation, risk assessments, audits, and training, and act as the SHO with regulators. Hybrid work options and international remote opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and decision-making ability.
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders.
• Proficient in writing HSE reports, procedures, and documentation.
• Well-versed in hazard analysis, risk assessment, incident investigation.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE policies, procedures, and programs in DOSH compliance.
• Serve as SHO and primary contact with regulators.
• Ensure OSHA 1994 and subsidiary regulations compliance.
• Develop and improve the HSE management system and records.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and CAPA.
• Lead audits, inspections, and regulatory visits.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks.
• Lead emergency planning and drills.
• Prepare statutory HSE reports and management reviews.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor site HSE teams.
