Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Malaysia seeks an experienced HSE Officer to oversee Health, Safety & Environment practices at our Johor Bahru operations. You will lead HSE programs, ensure DOSH compliance and promote a proactive safety culture across the site.

The role requires expertise in OSHA 1994, risk assessment, incident investigations and stakeholder communications with regulators, clients and management. Hybrid work options and extensive on-site leadership are available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading HSE programs under DOSH regulations.
• Experience as site Safety & Health Officer (SHO).
• Strong ability to conduct risk assessments and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE policies, procedures and programs in DOSH-compliant manner.
• Act as SHO and main DOSH contact; liaise with regulators.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1994 and related regulations.
• Develop and continuously improve the HSE Management System and reporting.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead audits, inspections and regulatory visits; drive improvements.
