Strategic Business Partnership
- Act as the trusted HR advisor to Malaysia leadership teams.
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews.
- Provide insights and recommendations on organizational capability, workforce risks, and talent trends.
- Support leaders in making effective people and organizational decisions through a strong commercial and business-focused lens.
Organization Development & Change Management
- Lead organization design, restructuring, and transformation initiatives.
- Develop and execute change management strategies to support business growth and evolving operational requirements.
- Assess organizational effectiveness and implement initiatives to improve performance, capability, and employee experience.
- Facilitate leadership discussions and interventions to strengthen team effectiveness.
Talent Management & Leadership Development
- Lead talent review and succession planning processes across Malaysia.
- Coach and advise leaders on performance management, talent assessment, career development, and succession decisions.
- Identify capability gaps and develop targeted learning and development interventions.
- Partner with regional Centres of Excellence to implement talent and leadership development programs.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage complex employee relations and workplace investigations.
- Provide expert advice on Malaysian employment legislation, industrial relations, and HR compliance matters.
- Proactively identify and mitigate people-related risks.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance requirements, and external regulatory obligations.
Culture, Engagement & Inclusion
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and action planning.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing culture.
- Support leadership teams in enhancing employee experience, retention, and organizational effectiveness.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives aligned with regional and global priorities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior HRBP should have:
- With over 15 years of progressive HR experience and at least 5 years of experience operating as a senior HR Business Partner supporting senior leadership teams.
- Relevant qualifications in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Exposure to EPCC or project-based environments would be highly advantageous.
- Proven expertise in HR strategy, talent management, and organisational development.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Malaysia.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Analytical skills to interpret HR data and drive informed decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a busy environment
