Job summary

Michael Page International (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is partnering with a leading multinational to recruit an Senior HR Service Specialist who speaks Japanese. The role supports regional HR service delivery at a newly established SSC, resolving employee inquiries and escalations while driving process improvements.

You will work across APAC, apply expertise in HR policies and lifecycle management, and coach junior colleagues to uphold service delivery standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, HR Service Delivery, or HR Generalist functions.
• Exposure to HR APAC region coverage.
• Business proficiency in Japanese (min N2 and above).
• Experience managing escalated HR cases and employee inquiries.
• Good understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR policies.
• Exposure to HR systems such as Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience within a regional or shared services environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

This role focuses on resolving employee inquiries, managing escalations, improving HR processes, and ensuring a high-quality employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
