Job summary

TF-AMD Penang is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the site leadership team in Batu Kawan, Penang. You will consult with senior management on HR issues and lead short- and long-term HR programs to attract, develop and retain talent.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 6+ years of HRBP/generalist experience, excellent communication and analytical skills, and solid knowledge of Employment Act & Labor Law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• >6 years of experience as HR Business Partner or Generalist.
• Excellent knowledge of employment law and labor standards (Employment Act).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the HR Business Partner on the site leadership team.
• Consult with senior management on all HR-related issues.
• Manage short- and long-term HR programs and policies to attract, develop and retain talent.
• Implement HR, organizational and employee development policies at unit level.
• Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of HR issues.
• Assist senior management in solutions through org development and culture/process perspectives.
• In-charge for HR-related audits.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor.

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the HR Business Partner on the site leadership team
• Consult with senior management on all HR-related issues
• Manage short- and long-term HR programs and policies to attract, develop and retain talent in the company
• Implementation of policies related to human resource, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division level
• Consultancy with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues
• Providing assistance for senior management in the development of solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives
• In-charge for HR related audit
• Other duties assigned by supervisor

About you

• Bachelor of Degree with preferred >6 years of experience in human resources business partner/generalist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mind, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of Employment Act & Labor Law, RBA audit
• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative
• Working location: Batu Kawan, Penang
