Job summary

FLEXTRONICS TECHNOLOGY (DL – PENANG) SDN BHD is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to administer employee relations across the organisation. The role requires handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee orientation for Direct and Indirect Labor within a participative, open-door environment.

Candidates should have a degree with 1 year of HR experience, or more, and be proficient in Malay and English.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 1 year of HR experience.
• Experience in Employee Relations is advantageous.
• Proficient in BM and English communication.
• Able to work permanent Night Shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a participative open-door environment for grievances and ER services.
• Administer disciplinary matters per company policy.
• Support employee orientation for Direct and Indirect Labor.
• Provide ER services to all employees and manage ER Assistants.
• Ensure PIP is executed and closed in a timely manner.
• Handle ad-hoc ER tasks per guidelines.
• Oversee company publicity and image building activities.

Job description

This role involves maintaining a participative and open-door environment to ensure employee grievances, complaints, and recommendations are heard, while administering employee relations services across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a participative and open-door environment to ensure employee grievances, complaints, and recommendations are heard

Maintain a working environment which does not encourage third-party interference

Administer disciplinary matters in accordance with company policy

Participate and support in the employee orientation program for both Direct and Indirect Labor

Provide necessary ER services to all employees and manage ER Assistants in all ER job scopes

Administer and ensure all PIP are executed in accordance with company policy and closed in a timely manner

Ensure all ad-hoc tasks related to ER are processed in a timely manner and executed as per company guidelines

Be responsible for all company publicity and image building activities (posters, banners)

About you

Degree holder with 1 year of relevant experience or a few years of relevant experience for those without the qualification

Candidate with 1-2 years' experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations is an added advantage

Possess a pleasant disposition and proficient in both oral and written BM and English

Ability to interact and communicate well with people from various levels and backgrounds

Willing to work in permanent Night Shift
