Job summary

Jiangsu Installation Sdn. Bhd. (JSI) invites a seasoned HR Generalist to oversee the full HR lifecycle, with a focus on foreign workers supporting construction projects. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, records, attendance, leave and related HR matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• At least 5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English; Mandarin required for communication with Chinese management and foreign workers.
• Strong knowledge of foreign worker management and Malaysia employment documentation.
• Experience with payroll, attendance, leave, recruitment and general HR administration.
• Experience liaising with government agencies and manpower agencies is a plus.
• Proficient in SQL Payroll and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage full HR cycle: recruitment, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave and staff-related matters.
• Manage foreign worker affairs: recruitment, documentation, work permits, passports, medical checks, renewals, and government requirements.
• Coordinate foreign worker arrangements: accommodation, transportation, welfare, insurance and other employment-related matters.
• Liaise with government agencies, manpower agencies, vendors on foreign worker matters.
• Monitor foreign worker documentation and ensure permits and certifications stay valid.
• Support manpower planning and recruitment for construction sites based on project needs.
• Assist with payroll, attendance, overtime, claims and other HR administration.
• Handle employee inquiries, disciplinary matters and day-to-day HR issues.
• Maintain confidential HR records and prepare HR reports.
