Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an experienced HPC Consultant for Power and Cooling based in Malaysia to join the Global HPC Professional Services team. You will work on complex data center power and cooling projects across major customer sites, delivering scalable IT solutions.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with cross-functional teams, and a track record managing multi-stakeholder engagements in high-tech environments. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/mechanical/thermal engineering with relevant HPC exposure.
• 10–12 years' experience as consultant on HPC projects focusing on power and cooling.
• Experience in data center power delivery architectures.
• Ability to lead engagements and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Decipher complex RFP requirements related to facility power and cooling infrastructure.
• Architect complex power and cooling solutions for air and water-cooled IT.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering experts to determine scope and costs.
• Capture the solution description and review with stakeholders.
• Provide engineering guidance across power/electrical, mechanical, thermal, and controls.
• Manage vendors contracted to provide solution pieces.
