Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a Safety, Health and Environment (HSE) focused professional to plan, implement and monitor housekeeping and safety policies at our facility in Malaysia. The role entails organizing daily housekeeping tasks, ensuring cleanliness, coordinating pest control, waste and drainage management, and driving HSE programs and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in any equivalent courses.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience or fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Systematic and logical thinking.
• Excellent planning and organizing ability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise daily works for housekeeping general workers and cleaners.
• Review the schedule on housekeeping duties.
• Ensure work by housekeeping staff is satisfactory.
• Ensure toilet management is per standard and requirements.
• Provide tools and equipment for the housekeeping team.
• Keep factory and surroundings clean at all times.
• Follow up grass cutting schedule by the HSK team.
• Manage internal and external pest control services.
• Check surrounding plan to ensure HSK staff perform instructions.
• Prevent mosquito breeding by avoiding stagnant water within company premises.
• Maintain drainage systems and report abnormalities or spillages.
• Conduct training/OJT and do and do not sessions.
• Assist in HSE management through campaigns and drills.
• Perform HSE and HSK audits.
• Take steps to resolve citations from government inspectors.
• Assist in training on fire drills, first aid, chemicals spillages, etc.
• Inspect and test safety and firefighting equipment regularly.
• Ensure servicing of equipment is timely.
• Provide Health and Safety training regularly.
• Landscape surroundings as required.
