Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Malaysia seeks an experienced HSE & Sustainability Professional to lead Health, Safety & Environment efforts within the service organization.

You will partner with leaders, employees, and external stakeholders to strengthen HSE culture and ensure regulatory and corporate compliance while supporting continuous improvement in HSE performance. You will drive incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and training programs, collaborating with project and service teams

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in OSH, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment roles in industrial/engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience conducting incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Experience supporting operational and project teams in implementing HSE programs and requirements.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret HSE data, identify trends and drive improvements.
• Comfort with HSE systems, dashboards, and digital reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Promote and embed a proactive HSE culture with managers and staff.
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, root-cause analysis, and CAPA implementation.
• Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local legislation and Hitachi Energy standards.
• Analyze HSE performance data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate risk assessments and implement control measures across activities.
• Deliver HSE training, awareness programs, and safety campaigns.
• Support project and service teams in applying HSE requirements.
• Drive HSE programs and improvement plans to meet business goals.
• Ensure HSE tools, equipment, and resources are available and used.
