Job summary

DKSH Malaysia is seeking a Senior Manager, Health, Safety and Environment to lead the development and implementation of HSE practices, aligning with global policy and local standards.

This role builds a culture of safety, ensures regulatory compliance, manages facilities and budgets, and partners with senior leadership to drive continuous improvement in SHE performance. Fluent English required; Bachelor of Science in a related field and QHSE training preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related discipline.
• Certified training in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) and regulatory standards.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven knowledge of dangerous goods regulations and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies aligned with global DKSH standards and local regulations.
• Manage departmental budgets and cost controls for facility management activities.
• Oversee facilities operations, space planning and maintenance across premises.
• Lead risk assessments, audits, investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with country leadership to ensure compliance and drive continuous SHE improvements.
