Job summary

Mattel Malaysia is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to drive supply readiness, manage inventory, and ensure on-time product availability across markets. You will partner with OEM vendors and cross-functional teams to optimize plans, mitigate risks, and mentor junior staff as you influence global supply decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven planning, and proactive problem-solving in a dynamic toy and consumer goods environment. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply planning, manufacturing, or inventory management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Tableau and data analysis tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a dynamic environment.
• English proficiency; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide supply response for worldwide markets and align with vendor schedules.
• Direct import order management and respond to daily inquiries from DI customers.
• Review vendor schedules and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Verify and manage material authorization for new toy development.
• Develop annual production plans and monitor capacity with vendors.
• Monitor supply status and communicate issues to markets and customer service.
