Job summary

Lam Research in Batu Kawan, Penang is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain Manager to lead the global spares escalations team. You will coordinate across customer service, planning, manufacturing, and warehouse operations to ensure on-time delivery and strong service levels.

The role requires extensive experience in production control or supply chain, hands-on SAP use, and solid MS Office skills to drive data-based decisions and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with leadership experience in production control, planning or supply chain.
• Hands-on SAP end-user experience.
• Familiarity with QuickBase or similar workflow systems.
• Strong understanding of planning processes and core supply chain concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Lead the spares escalations team as primary contact for customer service and global planning, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with regional teams and warehouses to gather requirements and secure shipments.
• Collaborate with purchasing and production to meet response times and resolve shortages or delays.
• Plan and monitor Stock Transfer Orders, production orders, and supplier POs to spares warehouse.
• Maintain data in ERP systems and adjust orders based on material status.
• Escalate risks and work with Engineering to resolve obsolescence or build challenges.
• Use data insights to track delays and improve supply continuity.
• Maintain accuracy and discipline across processes and documentation.
• Set goals and provide coaching to team members.
