Job summary

STMicroelectronics is establishing a centralized People Services hub in Kuala Lumpur to deliver efficient, consistent, and virtual HR services globally. The role focuses on day-to-day Payroll/HR operations, supporting employees and managers, and aligning with the company’s strategy, values, and targets.

As part of the team, you will manage payroll for multiple countries, ensure statutory compliance, and continuously improve payroll processes while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Payroll, HR, administration or related field.
• Proven experience in completing end to end payroll processing.
• Experience in payroll systems, preferably SAP Payroll.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and office.
• English business proficiency.
• Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Respond to employee inquiries and concerns with accurate guidance.
• Assist employees with payroll related processes and procedures.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for assigned countries, including bank files, reporting, payslips and statutory handling.
• Ensure timely statutory lodgments and reporting to government agencies.
• Maintain payroll deadlines and accuracy of reporting.
• Coordinate with CoEs and other departments to address inquiries promptly.
• Provide training and guidance on Payroll/HR topics.
• Participate in projects to improve payroll processes and employee experience.
