Job summary

EP Engineering, Kuala Lumpur, invites applications for a Senior Geologist with extensive oil and gas development experience. The candidate will lead geological evaluation across exploration and field development, integrating structural geology, stratigraphy and sedimentology to support reservoir delineation.

The role requires 10–13 years in the oil industry, including operating company exposure, wellsite geology, and ability to review work from petrophysics, geophysics and reservoir engineering.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology and/or MSc/PhD in related subject.
• 10-13 years oil industry experience, including an operating company.
• Fully conversant with oil & gas development geology (structural geology, stratigraphy & sedimentology).
• Able to critically assess work of other disciplines (petrophysics, geophysics, reservoir engineering).
• Experience of wellsite geological operations.
• Previous seismic interpretation experience would be advantageous.
