Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a full-time General Ledger Accountant in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia. You will manage daily GL operations, posting vouchers, and ensure conformity with the enterprise accounting standards using Kingdee Cloud Star.

Responsibilities include month-end closings, asset accounting, and supporting audits while maintaining data integrity and coordinating with IT for system optimizations. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in accounting/financial management.
• At least 5 years of general ledger experience.
• Proficiency in Kingdee Cloud Star software.
• Strong Excel data processing skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily general ledger operations, including voucher entry and posting.
• Perform month-end closing and tax accruals in Kingdee Cloud Star.
• Maintain ERP general ledger data and resolve anomalies with IT.
• Account for fixed assets: additions, depreciation, disposals.
• Assist audits by providing vouchers, balance sheets and confirmations.
• Review expense reimbursement documents for authenticity and compliance.
• Reconcile accounts receivable and payable and monitor discrepancies.
• Organize and present monthly general ledger reports.
