Job summary

Standard Chartered is seeking a Fund Services professional in Kuala Lumpur to support the daily operations of fund administration, valuation, and accounting. You will help ensure accurate NAV calculations, timely reporting, and adherence to regulatory and internal controls.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, with strong attention to detail and familiarity with fund documentation and IFRS/US GAAP where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant work experience in fund administration services, including fund valuation, and offshore funds.
• Excellent attention to detail with high accuracy and strong accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Line Manager to manage the operations of Fund Services Processes, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Help achieve team service quality by meeting or exceeding service standards and aiming for zero defects for clients.
• Deliver NAV reporting and other financial reports within SLAs and fund documents.
• Calculate and post management fees, expenses, and performance fees as per SLAs and fund documents.
• Maintain daily accounting records for multiple funds, including ledgers, cash positions, distributions, and pricing records.
• Review reports to CPC/clients and verify valuations against third-party sources; address issues with proposed solutions.
• Carry out cash and trade reconciliation daily.
• Prepare interim and annual financial statements in connection with audits; assist in team planning and coaching.
