Job summary

Standard Chartered in Malaysia seeks a seasoned professional to oversee Fund Services operations within the GBS Malaysia FMO Fiduciary & Fund Services team. You will manage daily processes, drive service quality, and support risk and control frameworks across regions.

The role emphasizes leadership, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement to ensure accurate fund valuations and compliant operations in a dynamic financial environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Banking; Economics or equivalent.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience in fund services.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head - FMO Securities Services Fund Services to manage the operations of Fund Services Processes, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Help achieve team service quality by meeting/exceeding standards and aiming for zero defects for the bank's clients.
• Lead Fund Services team daily operations and support staff to meet objectives and develop capabilities.
• Monitor incidents, audit findings and risk controls, ensuring timely remediation and adherence to risk policies.
• Maintain close relationships with stakeholders across Spoke countries, Chennai Counterparty, Group offices and within Standard Chartered to enable effective communication.
