Job summary

Altera in Penang, Malaysia, seeks an experienced FPGA design engineer to design and develop FPGA circuits and IPs, including core fabric logic, interconnects, clocks, and configurable blocks. You will work with RTL, verification, and SoC teams to deliver fast FPGA integration, perform circuit design, schematic entry, simulations, and timing/power optimization.

Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronic Engineering with 10+ years FPGA experience; strong communication and scripting skills

Qualifications

• 10+ years FPGA circuit design experience.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Design FPGA circuits and IPs including core fabric logic and interconnect routing.
• Perform circuit design, schematic entry, simulations, and reliability verification.
• Develop models and timing/power models for FPGA hardware/software deliverables.
• Collaborate with RTL, SoC, IP, and verification teams to deliver FPGA solutions.
