Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an Innovation & Application Senior Technologist to deliver technical solutions for customers in Malaysia, with emphasis on bakery categories. You will work with the commercial team to meet customer requirements and conduct hands-on lab and pilot plant trials at the Brenntag Technical Centre and at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years working experience as Food Technologist / R&D in F&B industry.
• Experience across various food segments including plant-based / hybrid solutions.
• Strong English communication and collaboration with commercial teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on laboratory trials to evaluate functionality and performance across bakery and snack categories.
• Handle processing equipment used in food manufacturing.
• Ensure on-time completion of customer projects and internal trials.
• Collaborate with sales/marketing to support rapid customer responses.
• Train and transfer knowledge of product portfolio to commercial teams.
• Liaise with suppliers for knowledge transfer of food technology.
