Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Malaysia is seeking a Fire Services Engineer to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems across our data center facilities, ensuring they remain fully operational and compliant with NFPA and local codes.

You will coordinate with contractors, lead routine tests and drills, conduct risk assessments, prepare documentation for audits, and respond to alarms with swift, technical incident resolution in a fast-moving, global team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in fire protection engineering.
• Knowledge of NFPA and local building codes.
• CFPS certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.
• Ensure compliance with fire safety standards and regulations.
• Inspect and test fire systems; coordinate with contractors.
• Lead fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
