Job summary

Hirehub Group in Klang, Selangor, invites an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to lead end-to-end fire protection design for EPC/MEP data center projects. You will prepare drawings, proposals, tender documents, and assist in cost estimation and bids.

The role requires strong knowledge of fire protection systems, proficiency in AutoCAD, and coordination with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure accurate design and successful handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Eng related is acceptable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection system design, engineering, installation, and construction.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection systems: alarm, sprinklers, hydrants, gas suppression.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit knowledge is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering standards in English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end fire protection engineering activities for EPC and MEP projects, including pre-sales support and design.
• Prepare fire protection drawings, technical proposals, tender documents, and support cost estimation and bids.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders on fire protection matters.
• Design, review, and produce as-built drawings and submission records for project handover.
• Lead testing, commissioning, and inspection of fire protection systems and ensure compliance with codes and project requirements.
• Stay updated on Malaysian and international fire protection codes and standards.
