Lazada in Malaysia is seeking a governance‑oriented finance professional to oversee accounting processes, controls, and project rollouts. The role focuses on enabling smooth transitions, driving transformational efficiencies and automation while maintaining robust risk mitigation.

You will partner with Finance Business Partners, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Procurement and Logistics teams to ensure processes stay aligned with Lazada’s business strategy and evolving logistics needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting; minimum 5 years managing projects.
• Technically competent and hands-on in finance operations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
• Capable of meeting tight timeframes and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience in e-commerce environments is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Chinese.

Responsabilidades

• Be the subject matter expert in processes and systems of the domain area; monitor audit issues and support issue closures.
• Lead the review of business initiatives; design processes and SOPs; drive partnering with stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and BPO to ensure high-quality service.
• Initiate transition of new entities/workflow to Finance BPO when needed.
• Identify and prioritize process and system improvements, including automation adoption and user training.
