Job summary

NETMEDIAS LEASHARES SDN. BHD. is seeking a detail oriented Bookkeeper who will maintain accurate accounting records in Xero and manage a full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL) in Malaysia.

You will ensure invoices are issued promptly, support cash flow reporting, and assist in preparing financial reports and audits. The role requires careful, organized work and collaboration with Business and Operations teams to ensure timely settlement reporting and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Experience with daily bookkeeping and maintaining up-to-date records.
• Able to manage AR, AP, and GL processes.
• Proficient in Xero accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills for supplier and client correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the accounting system (e.g. Xero)
• Handle a full set of accounts including AR, AP and GL
• Ensure invoices issued in timely manner
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) correspondence
• Maintain proper and organized documentation in all related areas
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
• Support audit and tax-related processes and documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards and company policies
• Work closely with Business and Operations teams to ensure timely settlement reporting and invoicing
• Assist in monitoring cash flow and cash flow related reporting
