Job summary

Toll Group in Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead finance systems initiatives across the business. You will plan, execute and deliver finance projects on time and within budget, coordinating with Finance, IT and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong governance, risk management and benefits realization, with experience in Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery, and solid financial management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience, ideally in Finance transformation, systems, or automation projects.
• Proven end-to-end project delivery including scope, budget, timelines, risks and governance.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience in business case development, process improvement and requirements documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and change management skills.
• Ability to manage project finances, reporting and benefits realization.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of finance related projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business strategy and finance priorities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and resource plans across workstreams.
• Document requirements, as-is and to-be processes, business case including financial analysis and benefits realization.
• Lead planning for complex programs across multiple streams with risk mitigation.
• Oversee project scope, scheduling, prioritization and alignment with objectives.
• Advise on framework selection (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) to meet needs.
• Create business cases including financials ready for approval and deliver using appropriate methodologies.
• Develop governance artifacts and provide regular reporting to sponsors and leadership.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts and financial plans; track expenditure and variances.
• Support benefits realization tracking and post-implementation reviews.
