Job summary

Singtel KL in Kuala Lumpur is launching a brand-new Shared Services Centre. The Finance Systems Admin Manager will own finance systems operations, gather requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and collaborate with IT and vendors to maintain performance.

The role oversees master data, budgeting, reconciliation, governance, and reporting, while leading a small team and engaging with stakeholders to drive system improvements and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Team Lead role and 7 years in accounting/financial analysis, with enterprise systems experience.
• Hands‑on experience with EPM tools (e.g. SAP BPC or CCH Tagetik).
• Experience in large corporate environment; telco industry experience is an advantage.
• Experience in financial month-end closing and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee master data management for finance-related data (GL accounts, cost centres, profit centres).
• Manage budget planning, allocation, and budget transfers; ensure policy compliance.
• Lead reconciliation between sub-ledgers and general ledger; maintain data integrity.
• Act as primary contact for finance system issues and coordinate with IT/vendors.
• Lead a small team of finance system analysts; foster performance and development.
• Engage with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into system enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and governance; support audits.
